Three quick things to remember

Use the video above as the main guide, then keep these basics in mind before the first cookout.

Pull it out Use the pull tabs so the white blanket opens quickly and fully.

Hold it in front Keep the blanket between you and a small, contained flame.

Lay it over Cover the flame completely, leave it covered, and step back.
A quick safety note Fire blankets are meant for small, contained fires. If a fire is spreading, producing heavy smoke, or you are not sure what to do, leave the area and call emergency services.
